Madrid, July 27th, 2026 — TOP PICKLEBALL TOUR powered by the APP has been announced as a brand new international pickleball tournament series, created to boost the sport of pickleball across Europe, with events starting in 2026.

With a strong presence from launch in Spain and Portugal, TOP PICKLEBALL TOUR powered by the APP will stage a minimum of four events in 2026, beginning in Gijón, Spain at the iconic Gijón Sports Marina, before continuing in 2026 to Zaragoza, Ciudad Real, Almería and Lisbon. From 2027 onwards, the number of events will increase across the Iberian Peninsula and throughout the rest of Europe, with a growing presence in Latin American markets in future.

TOP PICKLEBALL TOUR powered by the APP has the ambition of becoming the benchmark for pickleball tournament play in Europe and Asia, supporting the growth rate pickleball is now enjoying outside the U.S.

With the support of leading industry brands such as Picklebull and Nox, TOP PICKLEBALL TOUR powered by the APP will bring together both amateur and professional players at its tournaments.

TOP PICKLEBALL TOUR powered by the APP will benefit from the backing, guidance, and experience of the APP, operators of the APP Tour, the official tour of pickleball. The partnership between the two organizations launches with the APP powering TOP PICKLEBALL TOUR events, and is forecast to deepen in future years.

TOP PICKLEBALL TOUR powered by the APP events will feature a ranking and scoring system developed in close collaboration with DUPR, the world's leading rating agency, and the same ratings system used at APP events.
