Media Disclaimer
This credential is issued by the Association of Pickleball Players (“APP”) as a revocable license to an accredited media organization (“Agency”) for use solely by its authorized representative (“Representative”) in connection with the specific event for which this credential is issued (“Event”). This credential is non-transferable and remains the property of APP at all times. APP reserves the right to revoke this credential at any time, with or without cause, and to remove the Representative from the Event or venue without liability. This credential grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use textual accounts, photographs, audio, and video of the Event strictly for bona fide news and editorial coverage. No commercial use, advertising use, promotional use, merchandising use, sponsorship use, data aggregation, sports wagering, livestreaming, or other non-editorial exploitation is permitted without the prior written consent of APP. No rights are granted to sublicense, assign, or distribute content beyond standard editorial publication by the Agency.
The Representative and Agency agree to comply with all Event rules, venue policies, security directives, and reasonable instructions of APP personnel. The Representative may access only those areas designated by APP and shall not interfere with play, athletes, officials, spectators, or broadcast operations.
The Representative assumes all risk of personal injury, death, property damage, and equipment loss arising from or related to attendance at and coverage of the Event, including but not limited to risks associated with athletic competition, projectiles, equipment, crowd activity, and venue conditions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Agency and Representative waive any claims against APP and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates arising from such risks.
The Agency and Representative agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless APP from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (i) any breach of these terms, (ii) misuse of Event content, or (iii) any act or omission of the Agency or Representative.
Acceptance or use of this credential constitutes agreement to these terms.All credential matters should be directed to the APP Media Relations Officer.
